Gary “Ganue” Don Ray Sr

It brakes my heart, we share the tragic and unexpected passing of Gary “Ganue” Don Ray Sr, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, who lost his 10+ year battle with cancer at the young age of 49.

Gary was a funny and loving man—a real character, a true headache, but in the best and most unforgettable ways. He always knew how to help bring yourself out. He loved his children and family more than anything in this world. His humorous smile, unforgettable laugh, and selfless love touched everyone lucky enough to know him. A proud city native and a loyal sports fan, he repped the Golden State Warriors and 49ers every chance he got.

Losing him has left an unbearable pain in our hearts. While we grieve, we’re also faced with the heavy burden of covering the costs that come with the passing of a loved one. Due to Gary’s health, he wasn’t able to work in his final years and had very little left behind to help with expenses. We never imagined we’d be facing this so soon, and it’s especially difficult to navigate while still mourning.
