As many know, on Jan. 21, 2021 my husband Gary lost his battle with metastatic prostrate cancer. Over the past 3yrs Gary put up one heck of a fight. He continually, treatment after treatment, defied the odds much to the amazement of his doctors. His unwavering courage was truly admirable and remained strong throughout. When he started losing the battle with this evil disease, things just went so quickly. The thought had never crossed my mind when I took him to the hospital the previous Thursday that this was gong to be the end. Our son Michael and I were just so very grateful and blessed to be by his side as he peacefully took his last breath. In as much as my heart is broken over losing the love of my life and best friend of 33 yrs. It brings me great comfort knowing he's no longer in pain, no longer suffering and finally at rest in peace.
Gary was a loving father, husband, brother and Uncle. He touched so many in his life and through his 35 yr career in watch repair. He was a good man, a gentle soul always making people smile. He also was quite the character, truly a one of kind. From his quick wit, notorious one liners, dry sense of humor and practical jokes to his stories, many of which being very tall, there was always a laugh to be had. He has left us with so many great memories which will continue to help us celebrate him for years to come.
I am truly thankful for the years I was given with Gary but it hasn't always been easy. Through it all we've met some very challenging times emotionally, mentally and financially. I am asking for help with his final expenses including some medical bills as well as with help for upcoming expenses as I transition into life without him.
I thank you for your support, prayers and generosity.
