This Go Fund Me page is for the benefit of Gary Farah. Many of you know Gary, originally a Michigan
transplant, from construction at Disney. He started his business, Farah Construction in the 1980’s.
which became an instrumental part in building Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, the oval track at the Magic Kingdom, and various other projects across Walt Disney World. But you would find Gary getting in a round or two of golf when he could find the time to relax.
Gary closed the doors to Farah Construction in 2012. Despite the tough times, Gary continued to work
construction projects for four years after hoping that things would change but meanwhile depleting all his
life savings and his pension to no avail. At the same time, he was trying to maintain a family life with his
wife, Cora, and her children that he adopted.
Today, Gary has found himself broke at 73, with no home, credit that is non-existent and no ability to
pick up the pieces of his life to move on. His wife, has been able to find a job in Tampa and is
This fund is to reach out and ask for your support in helping Gary and his family relocate to Tampa, take
the burden off the numerous medical bills for Gary that are not paid by Medicare and allow them to get
their feet on the ground to begin a journey of recovery in their life.
Gary has a big heart and has been generous to all that have known him since the 80’s to the present.
What a heartfelt way to thank him for that generosity and for his friendship in his time of need.
