Gary Chalinor (Jacko)

This fundraiser is to help the devastated family of Gary Chalinor, known as Jacko to many, through this terribly sad time and to help give him the send off he deserves.

Gary and his family have been through a lot during his fight against cancer, he fought like a true warrior to the very end, not wanting to be a burden to others and his great sense of humour was always evident.

Gary sadly passed away after a long hard battle with throat cancer on the 29th of October. He had been unable to eat for 15 weeks and in constant pain from a huge tumor in his neck, despite all of that he still helped others whenever they needed him and tried to protect those close to him like he had done all his life.

Gary was a much loved Boxer and Boxing coach at The Willaston boxing club in Birkenhead, the club was a huge part of his life for over 40 years, where he gave up his time free of charge to help young people to stay safe and out of trouble, he loved it.

He was without doubt one of the good guys in this world and loved by everyone, he really didnt deserve this.

He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by all his loving family and friends. RIP Champ X
