Gary Bernhardt Memorial Fund

Family and Friends,

In honor of Gary Bernhardt, we have set up a memorial fund to assist the Bernhardt family in getting back on their feet in the wake of this sudden loss. The funds will be used to help with the costs associated with Gary’s passing and to stem the loss of the financial support that Gary provided to his family. The below message is from Lindsey, Gary’s daughter:

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our father, Gary Bernhardt. After three weeks in the hospital, he lost his battle to Covid pneumonia on February 1st, 2022. We are heartbroken and are suffering the loss of such a loving and caring person. He was the best dad imaginable. He never missed a football or basketball game of ours, and he was always the loudest fan out there. He was at every graduation and white coat ceremony. He always told us that everything he did was for his family. We will always hold on to our fond memories of him and will miss him dearly. 

Times will be tough financially. My mom is in her late 60s and takes care of my 90 year old grandmother. My dad’s construction business was very slow during the pandemic. Any financial planning fell to the wayside. Any donation made in honor of my dad will be greatly appreciated by my family.
