Gary Harvey of the fabulous duo of "Gary and Kerri" singer songwriters extraordinaire suddenly collapsed last Friday night while setting up for their gig at F M Dons in Punta Gorda. He was rushed to the hospital and coded for 56 minutes. He is now on life support and was put into a induced coma, however he has had two cognitive tests that he has passed, which is great news and his labs are perfect. The ultimate cause of the collapse was a pulmonary embolism or blood clots in his lungs.
Gary will be having numerous procedures and surgeries in the near future. Gary/ Kerri and their 11 yr old son Faron need all the support and prayers we can send them.
The Charlotte Harbor Parrot Head Club is setting up this "Go Fund Me" fund and 100% of the proceeds will all go to help with their medical and living expenses. The Parrot Head Club has started this fund with a $1000 donation.
This is an extremely urgent request as most know, musicians like Gary and Kerri sing and write their songs out of the love of it and their only income is when they can perform. So basically, they will be unemployed for the time being with no income and will be hit with huge medical expenses.
