Garth’s final expenses & help for Margaret

Garth Borrowman 9/14/63 - 2/14/19
Garth was loved by all, he had a genuine heart and was a rock for so many of us in tough times. We were all very fortunate to have had him in our lives❤️
These last few years have been very hard on Garth, so as heavy as our hearts are, there is comfort in knowing Garth isn’t suffering anymore and is now an angel watching over us.
Anthony (Tony) is the next of kin and is bearing the weight of final expenses. Anyone who’s been through this knows the minimum costs for cremation services is around $6000.
Anthony would like very much to buy a cremation niche at Cypress Lawn cemetery in Colma so he will always have a place to go see Garth, a place where his memory will be suspended in time for all of us. I’d like to help him make that dream a reality since we weren’t able to afford a full funeral. Any contribution will help.
We are also raising funds to help Garth’s partner Margaret Fong with moving expenses. In this heart breaking time, Margaret is faced with having to relocate as she won’t be able to afford the rent on her own any longer.
All monies raised in this campaign will be equally split between Anthony & Margaret to help them with their goals during this most difficult time. Please contribute whatever you can to help Garth’s loved ones left behind.
RIP Garth
A celebration of life memorial bbq will be held in Garth’s honor on Saturday March 16, 2019 at “Doughboy Meadow” in Golden Gate Park at 12 noon.
Doughboy Meadow is on the north side of JFK Drive, west of the intersection with Stow Lake Drive. There is no sign marking Doughboy Meadow, but the statue is visible down the grassy hill from the street.
