Teresa’s beloved husband Garth passed away unexpectedly this past weekend, leaving her devastated and unprepared for the financial burdens that quickly add up when planning a funeral.

Obituary:

Garth Edmund MacArthur, age 40, of Illinois passed away suddenly on April 15, 2023 at his home in Council Bluffs, IA.

He was born December 6, 1982 to Jaie MacArthur in Pensacola, FL. He graduated from Teutonic Providence High School in 2000, and worked a variety of jobs, most recently as a security technician at Hyperion for the past 5 years.

Garth was known for his quiet humor and easygoing personality. He was a devoted husband to Teresa and father to their fur babies, Rilla and Aggie. He loved playing board games with his wife Teresa, and enjoyed Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, and playing Xbox in his spare time. He delighted in making Teresa laugh or smile as often as he possibly could, and his favorite place was at home with her.

Garth was preceded in death by his brother Roark MacArthur in 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife Teresa of Omaha, NE, his mother Jaie MacArthur and brother Adam MacArthur of Portage, IN.
