Garry Francis, husband of Loujuana and father of 5, passed away on the morning of August 24, 2019 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on August 8, 2019. MESSAGE FROM ORIGINAL POST:
In the early morning of August 8th, Garry Francis was involved in an accident while riding his motorcycle to work at the City of Compton. The Compton Fire Department was dispatched and he was transported to the nearest trauma hospital. Upon arrival, the hospital’s trauma and orthopedic teams worked tirelessly for 12+ hours until his wife and mother could finally see him in the ICU.
Due to privacy rules and wanting to reach as many people as possible, his injuries will not be disclosed.
Garry is conscious and communicates with his wife, Loujuana, by nodding and shaking his head. Loujuana is playing a crucial role to assure proper care and provide him love and support. Garry’s and Loujuana’s family and friends have provided lots of support to Loujuana so that she can be by his side every day to focus on Garry’s health and recovery. Garry's five children, ages 30, 16, 14, 21 months, and a newborn, are being taken care of by family.
Loujuana had taken time off from her job at the City of Los Angeles to be at home with their newborn and toddler but now will also be needed constantly at Garry’s side. His duration in the hospital is unknown. We want to do everything we can to support them and are grateful for any assistance we can help provide them at this time as this will be a long journey to recovery. The prayers, love and support the Francis family is receiving is keeping them uplifted during this difficult time.
