Garrett's Olympic Journey Travel and Medical Fund

This is a fundraiser for Garrett Scantling, a decathlete currently qualified for the 2021 Olympic Games. This ensures that Garrett receives the best treatment and travel available on his Journey to the Olympics.

"I have so many people I would love to thank starting with my support system in my Mom, Dad, Maw Maw, Hunter, Brittney and the rest of my loving family and friends who have been absolutely key in helping me achieve my dreams. Having a following back home and knowing that love and support is coming from everywhere, has motivated me to truly be the best version of myself. As you may know, being an Olympic caliber athlete comes with many intense training sessions and many expenses. And even though I am grateful for having sponsorships and access to a training room it isn’t enough, and I need help. Mainly for me, travel and medical costs. In order to be at my best, I have to treat my body the best and be at the best meets. Traveling to meets, especially in the midst of a pandemic, has been stressful and costly. So I want to reach out to my support system and ask for help. ANY AMOUNT HELPS, but this will go to ensuring I arrive at the Olympic Trials in good health and state of mind. Thank you so much for your help, and I will keep working hard to achieve this dream to be an Olympic medalist!"
