Garrett Studer battling Multi Inflammatory Systemic in Children (MIS-C post Covid)
I hope everyone is doing well. I’m reaching out because Garrett Studer has been part of our family since birth and I wanted to share his story with you.
Garrett is 14 years old, who loves the outdoors and helping others. He spends most of his time with friends and family. Garrett has a passion for racing in the NYOA and GNCC series, when possible. He also enjoys hunting and fishing.
Garrett is the type of kid who can walk into any room, instantly make friends, and will get others smiling. Whether it’s going on late-night calls with his grandfather, assisting on the race track, or volunteering to do yard-work for an elderly neighbor. Garrett is always willing to help others who are in need. People who know Garrett would describe him as ambitious, caring, and lovable. He tends to be pretty funny too!
On March 13, 2021, Garrett was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Garrett’s symptoms include but are not limited to dangerously, elevated body temperature, extremely low blood pressure, organs struggling to function, coagulation incapable, body inflammation, and body rash. We want to help him get back to being a kid and doing what he loves with the people who love him most.
Garrett will have a long road of recovery as he remains in the Children’s Hospital. All donations will go to any outstanding medical costs and acquired expenses.
Thank you in advance for your time and generosity to support Garrett Studer during this difficult time. If you have any questions I’ll be happy to answer them for you.
