Hello everyone,
I am resharing the gofund me for Garrett.
Garrett beat this cancer once and he is fighting it for a second time.
Here is the latest update from his mom:
Just an update on Garrett. It has been a crazy few weeks and I'm really not sure why I haven't updated. Most of our family and close friends know that the biopsy results came back as malignant. We have all been heart broken but Garrett is a fighter and we're going to get over this as well. He only has to do 5 radiation treatments. We were in Nashville last week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to knock some of those out. We go tomorrow and Tuesday for the last 2. We had to reschedule his oncologist app and getting his stitches removed due to their covid policies. So we meet with his oncologist on Tuesday and then his radiation doctor was able to remove his stitches Friday. We're not sure if he has to have any chemo yet. He's been good, just in some pain. I did ask the radiation doctor if the surgeon removed all of the tumor. He said he got the majority of it and that's why he's having to have radiation. He said it was a great surgery and he was very pleased with it. He did show me 2 pictures of before and after and it looked so much better as far as the spinal fluid being where it needed to be compared to before the tumor was removed. Main thing is just please keep our boy in your prayers. He has been thru so much and is so strong!
Garrett was just recently diagnosed with cancer. This fundraiser is being set up to help with any expenses that Garrett may have. Garrett will be traveling back and forth to Nashville while he goes through chemotherapy and radiation. Anything is greatly appreciated, especially prayers. Thank you!
