Garrett Morris Memorial Bench & Legacy Project

On September 16, 2023, the world became much dimmer as my son Garrett Morris lost his earthly life and moved on to whatever is next. Garrett had the biggest heart, a love of all living things, an ability to jump in with both feet, and the most contagious laughter. These funds will be used to create a space for family and friends to remember him and to create legacy projects to keep his memory alive. We have already selected a beautiful location overlooking the rapids at our favorite swimming hole. I will also be gathering photos and stories to capture all the things he appreciated in life.

**Update: A bench already exists in the perfect spot. The plaque language is drafted. If you are wondering where it is, it's best to park near 3159 Riverplace Drive, off Goodpasture Island Road. If you walk up the path toward the river, you will see a bench on the river front path. The plaques are installed 2x a year so it may take a bit before it get to be "officially" his.
