Let's help Garrett!!

Hello there. I'm Felisha, Garrett's oldest sister, his mother helped write this sweet story about Garrett. You see on Dec 22nd, 2022 , his life's story changed DRAMATICALLY . Instead of having thoughts of spending Christmas with his 18 month old son, Gage, all of his thoughts were Gumbled up! He wasn't making any sense at all. His words weren't coming out right. It certainly wasn't the Garrett we all know and love.

At 43 years of age Garrett has worked so hard for everything!! And now He workes even hard for he and His BOY!!

Now, He has experienced this debilitating STROKE on the left side of his brain which

stripped him from the use of his right side, arm and leg as well as his speech rendering him HELPLESS.

One of the three arteries in his brain COLLAPSED causing this STROKE.

As most Americans realize we live from paycheck to paycheck he can no longer perform his duties as the

project Manager/Estimator for his current employer. Due to the fact that he had only worked for this

company less than a year, 8 months to be exact, he does not qualify for FMLA assistance. He currently

does not qualify for social security disability benefits at this time either. This GO FUND ME account

request is due to the fact that he has NO INCOME currently and has just went through a 15 month battle

with his son's mother to be able to have joint custody of his son. He used all of his savings to pay for the

attorney to be able to Father his son and now he is in need for financial assistance until he recovers

from this LIFE CHANGING EVENT of this STROKE

He will need two more operations before he can be on the road to his recovery to be able to get back to

his life that he has worked so hard to obtain. We are asking for any donations that you can spare to

assist with HOSPITAL AND DOCTORS costs as well as with the additional operations needed to prolong

nis life and recovery. Garrett is a proud man in a situation that could happen to any of us at any time

time. Doctors are optimistic for his FULL RECOVERY however this process could take 6 months. And we
