Garrett and Maree medical and livings expenses.

Maree and Garrett wish to thank the hundreds of people who have expressed their love, concern and prayers over the last few days. Many of you know that Garrett and Maree were in a severe car accident late Tuesday afternoon. Garrett sustained significant injuries to his left tib/fib, left knee, right femur and right hip. Maree's right pelvic bone was dislocated and fractured. Both have undergone several surgeries while Garrett will have to undergo future knee surgery. While both should make a full recovery, the road forward will be long and arduous as they work to regain their mobility.

Maree and Garrett are both self-employed and are looking at months without income. Additionally, Garrett had recently turned 26 and had no medical insurance. We have forwarded his name for emergency Medicaid and Garrett was denied, so they will have to cover Garrett’s medical bill without insurance.

Many of you have asked how you can help. We have set up this GoFundMe account as one way to show your concern. All funds will go first to medical bills and then to living expenses. They are surrounded by their immediate family, who are also supporting them. Updates on their progress will be posted on social media.

They have moved out of the Intensive Care Unit and are now in the recovery rooms at St. George Medical Center.
