Garret's Promise at Spirit's Promise
Tax deductible
As you know Garret passed away tragically on May 1st, 2021. Since then, we have been trying to figure out how we can allow his memory to live on forever. After researching different charities and considering a football scholarship in his honor, nothing felt quite right.
Garret's passing has led us to a sanctuary of healing. Through group therapy, one on one counseling, volunteer work, and time at the farm, Spirit’s Promise has given us a second chance at life. We have smiled through times we only imagined would bring sadness, and found spiritual connections during times of utter despair. Spirit’s Promise has given us HOPE. We want to help give others a chance at restoring their lives the way Spirit’s Promise has been helping us to restore ours.
When working with the family of Spirit's Promise, we realized there is a real opportunity to help, a real need that needs to be fulfilled. What has since developed is Garret's Promise. Garret's Promise is our commitment to the word promise. It's our promise to help autistic children, people in turmoil, people in grievance, and people who need hope. It's our promise to anyone who needs this promise in their lives, that we will be here to help them, and all in Garret's honor.
Currently Spirit’s Promise operates strictly outdoors, limiting their scope of practice. Garret’s Promise, will bring an indoor round pen to the farm and will change the trajectory of how people experience Spirit’s Promise. This indoor sanctuary of healing will allow Spirit's Promise to help people no matter the time of year or the time of day. Rain or shine, day or night, Spirit’s Promise will be able to host community events, offer therapeutic programming, and bring love to those who feel unlovable.
If you are so inclined, please help bring Garret's Promise to life. We hope you can become a part of our hope.
