hello to whoever is reading!

i’m gareth - i came out as non-binary in 2022 and have since had the joy of exploring my identity and living as my authentic self. i traded my boring short back/sides for an often-frizzy but occasionally fierce bob, i found the joy in maxi skirts and i lasered all of the hair off of my face. i have never been happier!

over the years, i’ve slowly but surely been heading in a feminine direction. after research and deliberation, i have concluded that i would like to pursue hormone replacement therapy - i still consider myself a non-binary person, but the masculine attributes of my biology have been causing me more and more dysphoria and HRT would allow me the opportunity to embrace the androgynous creature i am and likely be the final step in my personal transition.

living on TERF island and working minimum wage jobs whilst pursuing an acting career (pick a struggle) makes accessing HRT difficult. the goal of this fundraiser is to raise a minimum of £800 in order to cover initial appointment costs - any further funds raised will be used to fund medication costs and other necessary appointments required for this process.

having access to hrt would be the final block for me to feeling at home in my body and i know now that i’m ready to take this step.
