So unfortunately on Tuesday afternoon my friends partner Gareth was involved in an accident that has resulted in life changing injuries which will not only affect him physically and mentally but also financially. These injuries mean he is going to be off work for quite some time and as a dad/step dad who is self employed with 6 children and a partner to support as you can imagine the financial stress this has caused is huge.

His injuries have unfortunately resulted in needing an amputation of his R leg which as anyone can imagine is very difficult to come to terms with and is going to require an extensive and long road to recovery. This also means that it is likely his partner will be off work for some time to support there children and also support him with his recovery. As he is self employed and she will likely only receive statutory sick pay this is causing unnecessary stress in an already traumatic situation. Any donations no matter how small will be much appreciated to help support this young family through the next few months.
