Sometimes my family is too "proud" and doesn't like asking for help but I'm going to do it anyways. As many of you are aware my brother Gardner Fowler passed unexpectedly & suddenly on Saturday Morning. While many of his family/friends tried helping him throughout his life his struggles had left him homeless. He had taken the loss of my Mother extremely hard and never found his way, particularly after her passing. He left this world with little more than a backpack and the clothes he was wearing. Many people had tried to intervene and help him with financial assistance and mental health programs to no avail.
For all he lacked in financial and mental stability, my brother was loved by many who crossed his path. Much like me, he hid his pain with humor and a smile making others laugh while self-medicating and dying inside. I eventually found my way but unfortunately, he never did.
Gardner leaves behind a huge family and extended family and many people who loved him and helped him throughout his life. Most importantly he leaves behind his daughter Morgan and his grandson Riley whom he loved immeasurably. They are now faced with the unexpected financial burden of associated costs. Im asking if you can afford to and in place of sending any flowers please consider a donation instead. I know it will be extremely helpful and much appreciated.
may his soul finally rest peacefully.
