Gardner family house fire

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Roberts. On Tuesday evening my family was over and had dinner with our family friends, Eric and Nicki Gardner, and their two daughters (ages 9 and 14). After dinner a large fire was discovered on their deck.

Nicki and I had left our husbands and kids to attend a church activity when Nicki started receiving phone calls from her neighbors that their home was burning. The wind was strong and the deck burned quickly and soon spread throughout the rest of the house. The girls left their house barefoot only able to grab their dog. Eric, my husband, and my two toddlers exited safely as well, however, their home and belongings were lost.

The Gardner family are our dearest friends and we hope to provide them with some hope and relief during this challenging time. They are some of the most generous people, constantly serving those around them, and as a community I hope we can do the same for them.
