Gardner Chappell: Man Myth Mustache
Donation protected
As many of you know, our dear friend Gardner Chappell underwent brain surgery on Wednesday, September 28. Since that time friends, family and the community have rallied around to support him any way that they can. We have been truly humbled at the level of love and generosity shown to this wonderful man. He has recently been transferred to a rehabilitation hospital in Portland, where he is expected to be for the next three weeks.
We are Megan Crouch and LeeAnn Grogan, two of Gardner's Best Gal Pals. Any Donations made will be deposited into an account opened for Gardner by us and and Paul Zegers. We will be using the funds to modifiy Gardner's house to ADA regulations. All additional monies will go to Gardner diectly, to help with medical bills.
When one thinks of Gardner, the first word that comes to mind is probably mustache. The second word would be community. One of Gardner's favorite things to do is strike up a conversation with strangers. If they are visiting or new to the area, he always shares how he never felt truly at home until moving to "the land of Cascadia." Gardner is always the first there to help a friend or offer a hug so big that you can't help but smile. Gardner is about community, so let us, as a community, wrap our collective arms around this man, who has done so much for us.
Thank you,
Megan & LeeAnn
