Help me give my mum the farewell she deserves.

Hey, my name is Nethu. I'm 17 years old, and I'm fundraising to help cover the funeral costs for my beloved mum, who sadly passed away from cancer on the 19th of August at Wirral Hospice St John's. My mum came to the UK from Sri Lanka to work as a care worker. She was deeply loved and respected by her colleagues and by the many people she cared for. despite facing financial struggles and serious health challenges, she remained incredibly strong, kind and devoted both in her work and as a mother.

She fought cancer with grace and strength, never losing her warmth or her courage. Even in her final days she was surrounded by love and continued to inspire everyone who knew her.

As a daughter, I want to honour her memory by giving her the proper farewell she truly deserves. Being just 17, this is something I never imagined having to face, but I'm doing my best to care of everything for her.
