This is phase one of a four-phase project. The 16,000 square feet building is a mosque and an elementary school in the Southern New Jersey—conveniently located between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Phase one's total cost is 650k and we have currently raised over 400k. We need to pay the remaining balance before Ramadan (June 15, 2015). This Islamic Center will be the only one of its kind for at least a 50 mile radius in any direction. The mosque will serve as a place of prayer and worship to the Muslims in the community. Also, the hope is to ultimately promote teaching Islamic values and principles to our community's children according to the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
