Garden for Children's centre Romania

Hi, I’m Cara from Make it Flourish.

Next week I’ll be heading to Romania to work on a really special project with Big Love Charity and Outstretched Hands. We’ll be creating a garden space at a children’s centre, turning a dull, empty area into something beautiful for the children to enjoy.

This centre is a place where children can feel safe, have fun, and learn. The area around it has its challenges, and many families live with limited resources, but the centre is full of joy, laughter, and community. We want to add to that by making this space truly flourish bringing colour and life into this space.

Right now, there aren’t any plants, trees, or play equipment, We're planning to transform it into a welcoming flourishing garden. I’ll be teaching the children to grow from seed, giving the children the chance to see flowers and vegetables grow—maybe for the first time! The seeds we sow together really will be seeds of hope.
