The other night on 1/30/20 Alexis, store manager at Verizon Wireless Zone of Baycity, Lazaro and Rudy both her sons and employees at Verizon survived the devastation of their home catching on fire. Thankfully Alexis and her family of 5 children and pets were able to escape uninjured, but the damage caused by the fire is devastating.
Alexis has had a very tough start in the new year after losing two family members and now the fire. Alexis has been working with the Wireless Zone family for more than 4 years. During that time her hard work had been recognized with an award from the Wireless Zone Convention last year as well as local awards from the newspaper for the past 4 years, exceptionally representing Wireless Zone and Verizon in the community of Bay City. It pains me to see her going through this tragedy. Even more so knowing she did not have insurance on her home. She lives blocks from the the gulf of mexico, that making insurance to expensive for her to maintain over the years. I will be helping her financially to rebuild, with temporary housing for the family, and with expenses to replace her possessions. I am afraid that her losses will be far greater than I can contribute alone.Alexis is an exceptional person, mother, and an exceptional store manager for Verizon Wireless Zone of Bay City Tx.
Thankfully her house was not fully destroyed in the fire but the damage is extensive but repairable. We do not have an estimate of her losses yet but if I was to guess I would say a minimum of $40,000. All proceeds will go directly to Alexis.
Thank you for your time and compassion in this matter.
