Six months ago Rob, my husband and father of our two young children, was diagnosed with Cancer. There were several attempts to remove the cancer through surgery involving several small surgeries and two large surgeries. The last of which removed the lymph nodes under his arm. What began as Melanoma quickly spread first on his back and then to the closest lymph nodes. We have been moving quickly through options. Working locally and with some of the best cancer specialists in the state. Those specialists are located on the other side of the state and we have had to travel that distance many times for appointments, tests, consultations and surgeries. Requiring time away from home, lost wages from missed work and extra car costs due to the increased mileage. Not to mention the hospital and medical bills. His fight is now harder than ever. Rob has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. The cancer has spread to many parts of his body including his liver, his bones and a legion on his brain. He is starting immunotherapy as surgery is no longer an option. He is literally in the fight for his life! Rob is fighting every day so that he can be here to see his kids grow up. He is fighting for the future of his family.
Thank you from a very hopeful family that is fighting with everything we have so there is a chance our children can grow up with their father.
