Family Garage Consumed by Flames
Donation protected
On Wednesday, January 25th, our parents and a sister woke in the middle of the night to their garage engulfed in flames. The fire had consumed the garage and was starting to extend to the surrounding area - including the house! Thankfully the house did not catch fire, but was badly charred and had a few broken windows.
The fire department was able to put out the fire, but not before everything was burned to the ground. Thankfully no person or animal was injured, but our parents lost their main source of heat (a wood stove which was the likely culprit), all their tools and equipment, and their pontoon was damaged due to the heat of the flames.
It’s going to be a long and expensive road to get everything cleaned and fixed, which is why we have created a GoFundMe. Our parents work so hard and would never ask for help, but we are hoping to help them with some of the financial stress. Tools are not cheap, and my dad is always working on vehicles/equipment for family and friends. For those of you who know him, he’s always the first one to volunteer to fix something to avoid the expensive costs of a shop. We’d like to help him at least get his tools back so he may continue to help out others! Please share around to help us get to our small goal of $5,000. We appreciate you all.
Thank you, Jordan, Hunter, Tiffany, Abby, Mariah, Moose, Winston, Sheba, and Sparrow
