Losing our home

My name is Gary, I am married and have 4 children. My family and I have been living in the same home for the past 11 years. We have never been late on our rent or had any problems until this year. Beginning in May our family has been victimized by gang members. It started with an assault in my front yard. My two teenaged sons and my wife were attacked by a group of people. My wife needed medical attention and one of my sons got a tooth broken and required a root canal and crown. We called the police and filed charges. It has turned into a legal nightmare. They filed false retalitory charges against us and the court cases keep getting continued. I have lost more work than I care to even think about. In an effort to attempt to scare us into dropping the charges they have gotten gang members to come to our home repeatedly to threaten us. One of my sons was assaulted again by a group of people while away from the house in a parking lot and got his nose broken. The threats have continued throughout the entire summer. We have called the police and reported every single incident, although we are not sure what good it is doing. The neighborhood management has complained about all of the gang activity but has not given us any assistance or advice as to how to make it stop. We live in a posted private neighborhood so unless these people are invited they are tresspassing but management refuses to take out trespassing charges to deter them from coming back. Managment has also complained about the amount of police activity in the neighborhood, but we aren't sure what more we can do to get these people to leave us alone. Now the neighborhood management along with the owner have finally had enough. They have decided the easiest solution to the problem will be to remove us from the neighborhood. They stated with us gone the gang members will stop coming and the violence will stop. They said they realize we are not the ones who are causing the problem, but they don't know how else to rid the neighborhood of this issue without getting rid of us, the target of these gangs. All of our money has been tied up in repairing and remodeling this home to make it suit our needs. We had not planned to leave here for a long time. Our youngest 2 children have never lived anywhere else. Our teenagers have been here since they started school and had planned to stay until they graduated high school. We cannot afford to move right now so we are reaching out to ask for help. We need to raise money for a down payment on a new home and moving expenses.  We were renting to own this home we are currently in and will not be able to get any money back out of it if we leave before it is paid off in 2020.
