Soy Mathias, nací el 4 de abril del 2022 de tan solo 36 semanas de gestación, al nacer mi barriguita empezó a hincharse, no tenía forma de expulsar el meconio de mi cuerpo, *mediante unos análisis * me diagnosticaron HIRSCHPRUNG e inmediatamente me hicieron una cirugía para hacerme una colostomía de emergencia *para limpiar mi intestino y poder hacer popó* *mi intestino sale por el lado izquierdo a través de mi pancita*

Pero esta operación es momentánea necesito un equipo especial y doctores especializados que lamentablemente no hay en mi país Ecuador, para revertir esta operación y ayudar a mi intestino *sano* conectarse con el colón.

Qué es la enfermedad de HIPSCHPRUNG? Yo tampoco sé con seguridad, los doctores dicen que es una enfermedad congénita en la que faltan nervios en la terminación del intestino que conecta al colon.

Mis papitos han averiguado y encontraron un centro especializado en México que nos asegura una operación exitosa para que yo pueda crecer como un bebito a término y tener una vida feliz.

Ha sido duro para mí, la popo que expulso por la *colostomia* lastima mi piel y lloro mucho, pero a mi corta edad y contra todo pronóstico me aferro a la vida, yo quiero tener una vida feliz y normal como muchos otros bebes.

Hi, my name is Mathias. I was born on April 4th, 2022, at just 36 weeks old. I felt that something wasn’t right because my belly started to swell, and I didn’t have a bowel movement during my first 48 hours. I was diagnosed with Hirschsprung’s disease and immediately needed surgical intervention. The doctors performed an emergency colostomy until I could have the proper surgery to help with my bowel movement.

So, what is Hirschsprung’s disease? Well, I wanted to know too. I have a condition where I lack some nerve cells that permit my body to pass stool naturally.
