The title says it all folks. Kurt and Ashlee were a victim of a terrible tragedy yesterday on March 2nd 2026. Yesterday the roof of the Pho Hut caught on fire and many of the units above were affected beyond repair. Ashlee was inside the building when the fire started with their family cat and a snake (both pets made it out alive as well thank god). Everyone was rushed out the building safely but after the fire had been extinguished their landlord told them they could not set foot in their unit and that they had lost all of their personal properties.

The town of Gananoque gave them a Hotel room for the night and 2 upcoming days but all they have is their clothes on their back.

As a small community I know we all look out for each other. No one should go through anything of the sort especially in the cold of winter.

They are also on the lookout for a new unit ASAP as living in a hotel in not sustainable

Their daughter is 4.5 years old and goes to St Joes anything nearby would be best so that she doesn't have to switch schools as she loves her school and she doesn't need to go through more stress at that age.
