UPenn Nursing Goes to Guatemala!
Donation protected
We are a group of 12 Penn Nursing undergraduate and graduate nursing students and 2 faculty members who are embarking on a trip in May, 2016 to serve the families of Santiago Atitlan in Guatemala. We will be spending two weeks in this community providing education and health care as well as learning from the traditional midwives and formally trained healthcare providers. We hope to provide a generous amount of donated supplies to our community partners, who have graciously agreed to host us and provide us with this incredible learning experience. Our list includes dental supplies, band aids, school/art supplies, newborn hats/onesies, patient education materials, hand sanitizer, non-latex gloves, prenatal vitamins, folic acid, antibiotic ointment, etc. If just 12 of each of our friends donate $20 towards our cause, we will meet our goal! Your gift will make a big difference in meeting the need of this community. Thank you for your generosity!
