Six-week-old twin boys, Isaiah and Axtyn Gamon were diagnosed with severe cases of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), an illness that put both of them in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
While baby Axtyn has made a full recovery, baby Isaiah's condition has only gotten more serious. He has been been placed on a ventilator, feeding tube and PICC-line. He is also under medically-induced paralysis. Making matters worse yet, an ultrasound revealed that Isaiah has an Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), or a "hole-in-the-heart."
As doctors and nurses work around the clock to save Isaiah, his parents Sierra and Manny are struggling to make ends meet, while they also have four other children at home. Manny has missed a lot of work, and costs are stacking up. Trips to and from the hospital, additional childcare, meals and lodging away from home- are unfortunately only the tip of the iceberg.
Please, take a moment to help the Gamon family in their time of need. Your donation will ease their burden, allowing them to focus attention on caring for their children. Your thoughts, prayers, and generosity are greatly appreciated.
