Hello everyone! My name is Gabby Boccadoro and I am the philanthropy chair for the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at The University of Arizona.
On March 4th, 2016 we will be hosting our annual spring philanthropy event, called Go For Glow, 2016. Go For Glow raises money for a cause that is very near and dear to our chapter. Unfortunately, we lost our sister Glory Gensch a few years ago due to colon cancer at a very young age. Just before her passing, she and her family created an amazing organization called RACE Charities (Raising Awareness of Cancer Early On) to support funding of early cancer research as well as provide support for families who are going through similar situations. Our event is called Go for Glow because Glory, who we called Glo, was such an amazing member of our chapter, and we feel that her legacy should help make an impact on our local community, and fully consistent with our chapter's core value of inspiring the highest type of womanhood.
I created this Go Fund Me page to reach out to other members of the community that would like to support our philanthropic efforts in memory of our dearly missed sister Glory. 100% of the proceeds made from this Go Fund Me page will be donated to R.A.C.E. charities. Thank you for reading and supporting our cause, even a small donation makes such a huge difference!
