Hi, my name is Donald and I am starting a game development studio (SolarSoft Media, LLC.).
Note: Willing to walk for donations. For every $100 received, I will walk 1 mile. I will do this 1 to 3 days a week (depending on the value of donations). If I get $1500 in donations in one week, I will walk 15 miles that week.
I have an extensive business plan ready and working on additional market research to budget the marketing better in order to make the most profit. The company will be registered as an LLC (pending application approval). The legal process has already begun. I will be registering a business with my local city hall and getting an organization bank account. Some of these are expenses I could use help with.
I already have an Employer Identification Number and many of the hardware and software necessary for the business.
I have been programming for 15 years and more specifically been developing games for 5 years. I've put in A LOT of hours towards education, practice, and work experience. I am set up to start hiring cofounders (equity-based) and employees (salary-based). I already have one person on board as my Chief Operations Officer, who has 12 years experience.
Our goal is to bring this company to phenomenal heights and exceed $1.5 million our first year. I plan on getting investments of $500,000, but before investors will consider me, I need the business set up, a prototype project, and a team of experienced individuals. That's where this GoFundMe will help.
We will be focusing on casual and action-style games. Games like Candy Crush (match-three) and Call of Duty (first person shooter). Our number one priority with these games will be focusing on the user experience, which will include eliminating annoying ads. 94% of all free-to-play games include ads. We plan to use that as an opportunity to improve the user experience.

Specific details how the funds will be used:
- Software and hardware purchases, as necessary.
- Business Setup fees (licenses, etc.)
- Hiring a management team. These will be equity-based plus a small salary. The small salary will begin when crowdfunding has reached 75% of it's goal. Equity will begin when the company makes a profit.
- Hiring non-management team. These will be salary-based and pay will begin as soon as they are hired and start working.
- Cost of Goods Sold. Basically, any expense that is required to sell the products (research and development, marketing, etc.)
- Any other expenses we deem necessary.
