Help the Gamby's

You know the saying "the world is connected by six people?" Well I like to say that Hagerstown is connected by the Gamby's. Either you know Mike or Mary or one of their five kids Dustin, Doug, Dara, Drew, and Dillon. Mike and Mary are very involved with their church at Hub City Vineyard. Not only is Mike the coach for the church softball team but they also serve in the cafe and have small group out of their home. The Gamby's are truly one of the most amazing families, very giving, caring, sincere, and selfless. Mike and Mary rarely (if ever) ask for help but they need your help now.
On Wednesday, January 28th Mike slipped and fell on some black ice. He went and got checked out and it looked like he just bruised his hip, nothing broken. The doctors sent him home with a normal regiment of pain medicine and care plan. Unfortunately by Wednesday, February 4th, things went dramatically south. Mike was taken from his home to the ER by ambulance because he couldn't stay alert and was not making any sense when he spoke. After running some tests it was discovered that Mike has rhabdomyolosis kidney failure, pneumonia, a "friendly" staph infection, MRSA, and a bad urinary tract infection. Mike is currently in ICU in isolation so he can try to rest and heal. As of this morning he is over the mountain but not out of the woods.
Mary has been by his side at the hospital since she arrived from work (she's been working two hours away in Virginia). With Mike not working and Mary by his side for an unforeseeable amount of time, and with permission from the Gamby family, we have set up this page if you feel compelled to help with any monetary donations. The goal is to keep Mary by Mike's side and focused on Mike and not have to worry about finances. Prayers are always welcomed.
