Gamble’s Emergency Fund

Last week, my phone was stolen out of my hands and they hacked almost all of my financial accounts, sending themselves over $7000. I have cancelled the cards, changed passwords, and filed disputes on all the charges, but it could take up to 30 days to recover my funds (if I am able to recover them). Of course, I am also left without a phone and with hours of time and emotional labor to sort everything out.

The goal of this emergency fund is to ensure that I can pay my rent and bills for that 30-day waiting period and to help me buy a new phone as soon as possible.
