Greetings All! We are on a mission to allocate emergency funds for my brothers in Christ in Gambia. This is a family close to my heart, and they are in desperate need of basic necessities. Nfamara and his little siblings (pictured) have fallen into very difficult times since the untimely passing of their mother. Following such a tragedy, they were evicted from their residence and forced out of the once safe living standard they had been blessed with, to now, a more remote village consisting of an abundance of mosquito-borne illnesses, infections, and overall unsafe and/or inhumane living conditions. Even though this family, and children therein, have goals and aspirations to go to school for higher education, they have been forced to withdraw from academic sessions due to these hard times and financial restraints that have fallen on them. Their circumstance is one of dire emergency! It is frequently, if not 100% of the time, they go days without sufficient meals, adequate clothing, or safe shelter! Currently, they are sleeping on the ground (no mattresses), succumbing to the elements and disease because of the lack of appropriate shelter, awareness, and assistance. Jerry, a 19-year-old young man, has taken it upon himself to raise these children and make the best of their situation. This GoFundMe is not only for his family, he says, but also for his neighbors in need. This is a whole community fervently praying for some type of support!
