Tatiana Verega Challenges World Record for Abdominal Planking, Raises Funds for Galveston Chance to Dance

On May 9th, professional dancer and fitness pro, Tatiana Verega, will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for women’s abdominal planking. The venue for Verega's challenge will be the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce's Annual Women's Conference at Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa and Convention Center in Galveston.
In her quest to achieve a world record, Verega will simultaneously be fundraising for Galveston Chance to Dance, a youth dance program sponsored by Verega's Galveston business, DLS Dance Studio. Funds raised during her planking challenge will help defray the costs of bringing professional, out-of-state instructors to work with young dancers in summer workshops
