On September 28th, the Gallo family settled down for a quiet Saturday night at home with the kids. Little did they know the night would take a scary turn, and what occurred next was like scene from a horror movie: The Cherry Hill area was hit with severe thunderstorms and a "downburst" that tore down power lines and uprooted trees, sending one crashing through the Gallo house. The tree went through their children’s bedrooms and the nursery where their foster child was sleeping.
THANKFULLY, nobody was hurt, but it was a frightening and tragic experience nonetheless!
Right now, the Gallo home is uninhabitable, and the family has been displaced by the storm. We have set up this go fund me page to help the Gallos get through these next few months as they rebuild.
