Gallo Family Fire Recovery Fund

Hi all,

Our family has decided to create this fundraiser for our aunt, Betty Gallo and uncle, Frank Gallo (known as Harpo) who lost their home and all belongings of 60 plus years to a horrific fire today, Tuesday 7/27/21.

As many of you are aware this fire occurred in downtown Pittston at 353 South Main Street (Across from the Red Mill Tavern and next to Crossfit Anthracite). All items were lost but by God's grace everybody is safe. Betty and Harpo raised their families, nieces, nephews, extended families, and friends in this home making it a safe haven for numerous friends and family throughout the years. They have been involved in the Pittston Community their whole life and to say this is a tragedy is an understatement.

Anyone who has experienced a loss like this, knows how hard and long the time between the trauma and insurance clearance can be. The funds raised will go directly towards replacing immediate items needed, such as clothing, food, and necessities being that all was lost within hours. All that remains is what they left with on their backs unknowingly today. We are blessed to live in a community that supports and rallies behind those in need, any donation is hugely appreciated.
