Gallipoli Medical Research & DCM Climb Base Camp
At some stage, nearly everyone is impacted by cancer.
One in two Australians are diagnosed with some form of cancer by the time they're 85, meaning that if you are not personally diagnosed with cancer, one of your friends or family probably will be at some stage.
Last year, one of our close friends, a husband and father of 2 young children, was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer which has sadly progressed to stage 4. At present the treatment for this is limited, thus we rely on valuable research to identify new treatment modalities that could potentially save or prolong life.
Fortunately, there are some incredible organisations out there doing amazing work at the cutting edge of medical research, allowing more and more people to beat cancer.
We wanted to raise a serious amount of money to support the work of the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation.
In January 2024, the DCM team will be climbing to Everest base camp. We will be donating a percentage of all DCM invoices over the next year to our fundraising campaign. Your donations will make a massive difference to Gallipoli Medical
Research Foundation and will allow them to tackle the greatest challenge of all. Finding a cure for cancer
