My friend and co-worker, Sarah Gallagher-Reyes, and her husband, Alex, along with their 4-year-old son, 33-year-old sister with special needs, and dog had a devastating fire at their home today. Sadly, their cat, Doby, is presumed gone.

Tomorrow they meet with the Red Cross and insurance to determine whether or not they've lost everything. The family is being housed at a hotel in town and are safe and warm.

Their immediate needs are for clothing, take-out food (no kitchen at the hotel), and hope.
