Galen needs your help with unexpected medical expenses.

Galen is an amazing dad, partner, friend and designer. His kindness, generosity and presence have made an impact on the lives of anyone who has been lucky enough to know him.

Over the past few months Galen has been experiencing an acute medical and mental health crisis. In the past week things have become very difficult for him and he currently requires full-time care.

Access to medical and mental health support has been a slow process due to the strained resources in his community.

Galen was doing all the right things while patiently waiting to access the crucial health care he and so many other people need.

His loved ones and care team do not believe Galen’s condition is permanent. He will however need full-time care in the immediate future, as well as ongoing medication, therapy and other supports, all of which come at a high cost.

Galen and his wife are both self-employed and thus have limited benefits and resources to draw upon as they face these extensive unexpected expenses.

Galen is the primary earner for his household, and we need your help to make sure the financial burden is lessened on his wife and a level of normalcy can be maintained for his young daughter while Galen is unable to work.

We hope and expect Galen to make a full recovery and to return to his smiley self in time.
