Tim was unexpectedly diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2014. Only one day after his first grandchild's first birthday party, he underwent surgery and subsequently began six weeks of radiation and one year of chemo treatments for Stage III Astrocytoma. When, just one-and-a-half short years away from total remission, a routine MRI check-up in December 2022 showed signs of recurrence. His next step will be surgery at MD Anderson in Houston, TX within 1-2 weeks.

Tim has always been a selfless hard worker, amazing husband, loving father of four and now (possibly his favorite role) a doting grandpa of 12 (ages 10 years to 11 months)!

This diagnosis, the surgical procedure, future treatments, out-of-pocket medical expenses, travel, lodging, and decrease in income (due to inability to work) can be overwhelming.
