Help Gail Walk Again: Support Her Recovery
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Those of you who know Gail understand that her passion for helping others has always been at the forefront of her life. She has truly been an inspiration. Now, however, Gail finds herself in a challenging situation and needs your support more than ever. Your help can make a real difference in her life, just as she has made in the lives of so many.
In May, Gail suffered a massive stroke while sleeping at home, just after being released from the hospital in Bozeman, Montana. The previous evening, she had checked herself into the emergency room after reporting stroke-like symptoms but was told her tests were negative and was sent home to rest. Tragically, the next morning, she was unresponsive and had to be life-flighted to the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Gail has spent seven weeks in inpatient therapy and another six months living in a hotel near her outpatient therapy, striving to regain her ability to walk. Due to financial constraints and the harsh winter weather, she has now relocated to Southern California and enrolled in a new therapy program in Long Beach called Neuro-IFRAH (Neuro Integrative Functional Rehabilitation And Habilitation), which is well-documented for its successful outcomes.
Please help Gail continue her journey toward walking again. This cutting-edge therapy is not covered by insurance, and your support is crucial. She has already made significant improvements with her therapists, taking her first steps with a walker and regaining movement in her fingers and hand. Currently, Gail is living on Social Security with her husband, who is her full-time caretaker. Your support and prayers are greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your kindness.
