My mom, Gail has been struggling with her health lately, and was recently in rehab for a significant amount of time. And she now requires an aide in home for when I’m not there. After fighting with insurance and applying for coverage and financial assistance, she still faces about $5600-$5700 in copays from the rehab stay as well as Medicaid spend downs. Anything would help me pay her spend down so she can get the services she needs and to keep the rehab bill out of collections.
