Medical Expenses for Gail Lane

Gail Ann Lane (age 61), a beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with cancer.

Gail was born and raised in Meriden CT. After graduating from Paier College for Art with a degree in Illustration, Gail moved to Maine to be with the love of her life Dana Lane.

Together Gail and Dana spent 46 years together raising two daughters, hunting, fishing, cooking and making beautiful artwork including carvings and paintings that have graced the homes of patrons across the country. Some familiar local artwork on display includes the Welcome to Carroll Plantation sign and the Lee Academy sign.

Gail was a loving soul who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, painting, being outdoors in her garden and listening to her husband play the guitar.

Gail is survived by her husband Dana, her daughters Samantha Ruzich and Amy Lane, son in laws Robert Ruzich and Ryan Roux, and Grandson Daniel Ruzich. She is also survived by her mother Mary Lou and Siblings, Cathy, Mary, Patricia and James and many grandnieces and nephews.

The world has lost a beautiful soul, as Gail always put others before herself. She pursued a career in home health care and brought comfort to all of those in her care. She was a kind person who until her last moments had a beautiful smile on her face and expressed love for her family. She is deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
