Please help lay our mother to rest

Hi,

My name is Alissa and my mother Gail Perry-Arnold passed away unexpectedly October 18th. Anyone who knows my mom know she’d give the shirt off her back and she rarely asks for help. So I know she probably wouldn’t be a fan of this, but she was only 45… we thought we had so much more time left and did not even have a conversation regarding any of this, never mind a plan.

She lived for everyone else. She took care of her mother and niece, no questions asked for years. She watched her grandchildren without question, every single time she was asked. She was everyone’s best friend. The one we called for everything. To watch the kids, to be a shoulder to cry on, to vent, to remind us of how strong we were. She took the weight of world on her shoulders and always had a solution.

Her passing while too hard for us all to bare, also leaves us with a lot of questions and responsibilities as far as taking on everything that she was. Trying to navigate through that, while trying to grieve the lost of the most important person in all of our lives.

She spent her entire life fighting, physically, mentally, emotionally, through any and every obstacle thrown her way. And we’d like to give her the best send off we can. To show her how much we appreciate her just one last time.

Rest is the sweetest peace, our guardian angel.

We will be having a gathering to say goodbye at Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory 901 Broadway, East Providence, 02914 Saturday October 22, 2022 from 10am-1pm.
