Gai Ngo, passed away Nov. 23, 2023, at 11:06 pm on Thanksgiving night, surrounded by everyone who loved her.
For several years, she had fought a long and painful battle with her illness. Constant medical care, treatment, and hospitalizations became more frequent as the years passed. She had Uncontrollable Diabetes and suffered from chronic kidney failure, constant seizures, osteomyelitis, and other health issues. During the past 7 months, she was put on a ventilator and was in the ER several times, ICU for 4 times, and was admitted to long-term care until she ultimately succumbed to respiratory failure. She was very strong-willed. She fought so hard and was trying her best to live for the sake of her family. However, with increasing difficulty and a multitude of overlapping medical conditions, she could not overcome her pain anymore. Gai Ngo can finally rest, she is no longer in pain and doesn't have to suffer anymore.
My family is grieving the loss of the most special person who was the glue to our family, held us together through tough times, and is always checking up on everyone to make sure they are okay. She is the type of person who looks after others first before herself. A call from her consists of making sure you eat, what’s going on, any funny stories to listen to, or whatever exciting gossip to talk about. She was so special.., a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, sister, and overall, an incredible person.
My family and I are requesting any donations to help contribute to her funeral. We are grateful for any contributions or share this fundraiser to help our family honor her memory, and her legacy and allow her to finally rest in peace as we mourn her together. Thank you so much for your condolences and time.
