Danny’s Top Surgery!

Hey guys!

As most of you already know, I FINALLY had top surgery on August 5th, 2024! This was about 5 years in the making and my fourth official attempt! Since I had to have the surgery out of state, that means I’ve incurred a lot of extra expenses. I had to pay for the surgery out of pocket and am still unsure whether insurance will reimburse me for it, along with having to pay for two flights and a week’s worth of expenses for my stay in Miami. In total, I’ve spent well over $14,000 to get this surgery (with some help from my wonderful girlfriend). I created this gofundme to give people the opportunity to help out if they wanted to, and every bit helps! Even if you can’t give or just don’t want to, I’d like to say thank you so much for the overwhelming support I’ve received from every one of you from every chapter of my life. I am so incredibly blessed to not only have been able to get this surgery at all, but to have such a beautiful support system along the way. I love every one of you who reads this, and I hope everyone has the opportunity to become the best version of themselves and live life to the fullest, like I can now ❤️

An update: My insurance has chosen to only cover $2800 of this surgery cost, so I am stuck with over $9000 out of my own pocket. I am hoping that this fundraiser can help me recoup some of this cost, and as angry as I am that I am having to ask for help for something that I believe should be the responsibility of my insurance company, I am extraordinarily grateful for the help nonetheless.
